As get closer to Good Friday and Easter we offer a time for healing and prayer
EVENING EUCHARIST OF THE LORD’S SUPPER with the washing of the feet. This is a solemn service with incense and the start of the preparation for Good Friday.
A time to meditate on the journey of Christ from the time of his betrayal to his crucifixion. Reflections / prayer / hymns
Today the Church, while mourning the sins which were the cause of Christ’s suffering, celebrates the triumph of his saving death. This service is in four parts:
The Liturgy of the Word
The General Intercessions
The Solemn Adoration of Christ Crucified
The Holy Communion.
A solemn Eucharist (with incense) starting with the lighting of the Pascal Candle representing the risen Christ.
A Eucharist service with hymns and incense. There will be an overflow into the hall (no incense in the hall)
We will have ONE service and during this service we will hold our Annual Vestry Meeting. This is an important time when the St Michaels family come together to approve the plans for the coming year.
Our evening Eucharist service on Ash Wednesday will have incense, hymns and the imposition of ashes. If you are looking for a traditional Anglican service this is for you.
This Eucharist service will have hymn and the imposition of ashes. It is ideal for retired people as well as those who are able to take some time off work.
For those who would like to start the Lent season with a Eucharist service and the imposition of ashes before going to work, join us at 06:00 for a said service.

Join us as we celebrate our patronal festival with two Eucharist services - 07:00 and 10:15. The 07:00 service will be followed by a Bring and Share breakfast and the 10:15 will be followed by a Bring and Share Lunch.
Join us on Sunday 27 July to say thank you and farewell to Revd David and Bridget Edwards. There will be a farewell tea after each of the services.
Revd Sharmain will celebrate at all the morning services and her farewell will be held after the 10:00 service.
